How to make my reservation?

Selecting the ski resort

To start your reservation, begin by selecting the ski resort of your choice on the homepage, along with your stay dates (start and end), then click on "Search".

Your store

Once on the resort page, you can choose the store you're interested in by clicking on "Rent here".

Use the map on the right side of your screen; it will help you locate the store in the resort to be as close as possible to your accommodation.

If you want more information about the store, click on "Discover this store"; you'll have access to opening days and hours, the exact address, available payment methods, or even the overall rating of the store.

Your ideal ski equipment

Once on the store page, with validated stay dates, select the equipment you need.

Choosing the ski or snowboard category is essential to ensure a fun experience and successful vacation!

So, here are the five equipment categories we offer for adults:

  • INITIATION - For beginners who want to get into skiing, playful skis, easy to handle, and very forgiving.
  • EVOLUTION - For beginner to intermediate skiers who have had a few weeks of skiing and want to progress. Skis are forgiving and easy to handle.
  • SENSATION - For intermediate to advanced skiers looking for thrills. These skis tend to be stiffer than other categories, which means more responsiveness and more effort required from the skier.
  • PERFORMANCE - For enthusiasts who want high-end equipment. These are rigid skis designed for very good skiers.
  • PRESTIGE - For experts looking for demanding, high-performance equipment.

And here are the seven equipment categories we offer from a young age to adolescence:

  • KID INITIATION [From 3 to 6 years old - maximum 120 cm] - Range dedicated to little ones. Playful and easy, it's ideal for discovering the joys of skiing!
  • JUNIOR EVOLUTION [From 7 to 12 years old - maximum 160 cm] - Category designed for beginner to intermediate levels.
  • JUNIOR SENSATION [From 7 to 12 years old - maximum 160 cm] - For budding champions, full of energy and eager for new skiing sensations! A perfect range for quickly progressing on slopes or in snowparks.
  • JUNIOR PERFORMANCE [From 7 to 12 years old - maximum 160 cm] - Suitable for highly skilled children, starting from the gold star level. Performance and precision guaranteed.
  • ADO EVOLUTION [From 13 to 17 years old - maximum 170 cm] - Range intended for teenagers from beginner to intermediate levels.
  • ADO SENSATION [From 13 to 17 years old - maximum 170 cm] - Range intended for teenagers from intermediate to advanced levels.
  • ADO PERFORMANCE [From 13 to 17 years old - maximum 170 cm] – Range intended for highly skilled teenagers, technical and high-performance equipment.

At this point, you have the option to select ski boots and a ski helmet to complete your ski pack; this will automatically adjust the price.

Note that ski poles are automatically included when you reserve a pair of skis.

We also offer the rental of ski boots or helmets separately, without ski reservation. We only offer two helmet categories, one for adults and one for children, while for ski boots and snowboard boots, we have several options:

  • COMFORT: You prefer comfort to progress.
  • PRECISION: You prioritize precision in a high-performance boot.
  • JUNIOR COMFORT: [From 7 to 12 years old] - You prefer comfort to progress.

Why get ski insurance?

When considering a ski vacation, it's essential to examine all aspects of the trip to ensure your safety and peace of mind. Skiing, although exciting and fun, carries risks that should not be overlooked. Therefore, it is crucial to ask yourself: Is it necessary to take out insurance when going skiing?

The answer is YES, without a doubt!

Indeed, depending on your planned activities, especially if you intend to go off-piste, mountain rescues can incur considerable expenses if special means are deployed to rescue you in case of an incident. It is essential to check the terms of your insurance contracts and the coverage offered by your credit cards, but don't hesitate to maximize your protection. Even if you are confident in your alpine skiing skills, you could cause injury to others or be injured by a less experienced skier.

On-piste intervention costs typically range from 300 to 350 euros, plus ambulance costs, approximately 150 to 180 euros, to take you to the hospital or a local doctor.

In case of an off-piste accident, intervention costs can rise to 500 to 600 euros, not including ambulance costs. If you ski as a family without adequate insurance, your mountain stay could be very costly.

Therefore, it is recommended to spend a few extra euros to benefit from insurance covering all evacuation expenses in case of an emergency.

How to choose the best ski insurance?

When looking for ski insurance for your family, it is crucial to consider several factors, including:

  • Level of coverage: Choose coverage tailored to your specific needs, considering each family member's skill level, the duration of your stay, and planned activities.
  • 24/7 medical assistance: Ensure your insurance offers 24/7 medical assistance in case of an emergency.
  • Refund of lift passes and equipment: Check the reimbursement conditions in case of cancellation or interruption of your stay.
  • General Conditions: Carefully examine the insurance terms and conditions to understand all exclusions and limitations.

Opting for ski insurance when you go to the mountains as a family is a wise decision. It guarantees safety and peace of mind as well as the protection of your investment, allowing you to fully enjoy your vacation. Ski safely and enjoy every moment on the slopes with the certainty of being covered, no matter what happens unexpectedly.

If this modification results in an additional cost, it will be required at the store when you visit (if you already had a balance to pay in-store, it will be adjusted; if not, it will create one).

Conversely, if this modification results in a price decrease, there are two possibilities: you have a significant balance in-store that can cover the amount, or you don't have a balance in-store, in which case we will refund the amount directly to the card used for payment.

Your means of transport

To make your arrival at the resort easier, decide on your mode of transportation in advance.

All resorts are accessible by car, but winter equipment is now mandatory for most of them from November to March (for more information, consult the road safety website). Make sure you have high-quality, snow-appropriate tires. In extreme weather conditions, as in some resorts, it is essential to have equipment such as snow chains or snow socks in the trunk.

Opting for the train proves to be a practical and eco-friendly solution, as many cities near ski resorts are served by rail, including some by TGV. To reach the ski resort from the station, various means of transport such as shuttles, buses, and taxis are available. Some resorts even offer combined "train + bus" deals that are very competitive in terms of travel time, cost, and environmental impact.

Although less frequently used, the plane remains a viable transportation option. Many ski resorts are located within a hundred kilometers of an international airport, with shuttles available to quickly transport travelers to the resort. Often mistakenly considered the most expensive transportation option, the plane turns out to be the fastest and most reliable solution. Moreover, for trips of several hundred kilometers, the plane remains undeniably the best choice.

Your personal equipment

To ensure your stay goes smoothly, also consider your personal equipment. Yes, when you head to the mountains, temperatures can drop drastically! So, make sure you are properly equipped: winter clothing, ski gloves, beanie, neck warmers, make sure you don't forget anything.

It's essential that your clothing is also breathable, as under the sun, during intense physical activity, heat can quickly rise. Also, don't forget snow boots to keep your feet dry during your walks!

If you need to complete your equipment, don't hesitate to visit our website specialized in ski clothing sales.

Now that your equipment is ready, you can consider your arrival at the resort. To facilitate it, don't forget to check the opening hours of your store on our website as well as its exact address, this will help you find it faster. Note that you can pick up your equipment from the day before your first day of skiing from 4 p.m. onwards.

GOOD IDEA: To avoid waiting in the store on Saturday or Sunday morning, which is common during school holidays, consider picking up your equipment the night before if possible.
