The Secrets of Les Saisies' Slopes
Skiing at Les Saisies
Les Saisies is known for its scenic skiing, offering a beautiful tour of the area with spectacular views without requiring a high technical level. Split on either side of the Saisies pass, the domain allows you to enjoy the morning sun on Mont Bisanne and the sunny slopes in the afternoon on Chard du Beurre and La Légette. Thanks to the Bellasta detachable chairlift, connections between Les Saisies and Praz sur Arly are now easier, adding new accessible slopes.
For Intermediate Skiers
With 80 km of varied and easy slopes, Les Saisies allows intermediate skiers to explore the entire area. Simply avoid the lower sector of Hauteluce, which is more technical. A classic itinerary for scenic skiing includes the green and blue slopes around Chard du Beurre and the Vorès ridge, offering panoramic views and forest descents.
For Advanced Skiers
Advanced skiers will enjoy the red and black slopes under the Chamois and La Légette chairlifts, as well as the red Lanches slope, the longest in the area. Unmarked routes like Les Prés, which descend towards Hauteluce with a free shuttle return, offer additional challenges. The Bellasta sector, sunny in the morning, and the red Sangliers slope are also must-sees.
